Reset Your License
Did you get a license error after moving your site? Not to worry as we will
list how to fix the error fast and easily!
License Servers
There are two license servers, and where you go to reset your license depends on which license server your Article Friendly site is using.
If you downloaded your purchase of Article Friendly from articlefriendly.biz/scripts/ then you will have a license.php in your admin folder, and you will follow the tutorial from the "articlefriendly.biz Reset" section below. If you downloaded Article Friendly from articlefriendly.info/audit/ then you will have a configuration.php in your admin folder instead, and can jump to the articlefriendly.info Reset section further down this page.
Moved Your Site?
If you moved your site to a new host or moved the installation to a new folder, or the site's IP number has changed, you can reset your license in your client area. If your client area is at the articlefriendly.info/audit/ license server, then skip the following and go to the articlefriendly.info Reset section. articlefriendly.biz Reset
Login to your client area and you will see a list of nav links in the upper right. Click on the "licenses" Link to go to the next page.
The next page will show you a list of your purchase and offer two option to the right of your purchase. Find your Article Friendly purchase and click on the "View" Link to move to the next page.
The final page will show you the actual license & IP number of your site. Enter your new domain name, then a comma and add the domain name with www. in front of the domain.
Click on the "Update Hostname/IP" button to save your changes!
If your new host is using a "Cloud Server", you may enter any additional IP numbers in the "IP:" field. Enter each additional IP number followed by a comma.
articlefriendly.info Reset
If you downloaded Article Friendly from the articlefriendly.info/audit/ site, you can reset your license using this tutorial. First, click on your client area button.
After logging in, you will see a nav menu to your left. Click on the "View Your Licenses" link to go to the next page
You will now see the details of your purchase and license. Click on the "View & Download" button.
The final step is to click on the "Reissue License" button. This will instruct the license server to redetect your site's new URL and IP number next time you login to your admin section.
You may also manually enter the domain information (such as a series of IP numbers separated by commas for a cloud server).
