This tutorial covers the Add Product fields after clicking on the the admin's right nav links.
1. Product Name - Enter your product's address in this field.
2. Category - Chose the category to place this product into from the dropdown list.
3. Product Addon? - An addon is something offered along with a specific and EXISTING product. It can be a a physical product or a service such as an offer to install the product for your customer, or offers of blocks of time for customer support. Addons will be shown along with the product it goes with when a customer views your products.
Enter 0 for no (it's not an addon, or 1 for yes it's an addon)
4. Addon For? - If the product is an addon (you entered a 1 ( number one) in the field above), the the list of checkbox's show all the products that you can select to add the addon to. You may chose multiple products (for example, for an addon that offers to install your product for your customers). If you entered a 0 (zero) in the Product Addon? field above you can skip this field.
5. Short Product description - Enter your product's short description shown on your index page's featured items, and all products list. HTML is okay to use.
6. Long Product description - Enter your product's log description shown on product's detailed descriptions. HTML is okay to use.
7. Product Image - Just the Product's image name & must be already manually uploaded to the admin/prod_images folder. eg. box.jpg -- If no image, leave blank.
8. Product Price - Product's Price. No Money symbol ($) is required. eg. 25.00.
9. Product License? - If the product is licensed. Enter Y = yes, N = No if not a licensed product. A licensed product is one in which you copy/paste AF Licensing script's licensing code into your product.
10. License Prefix - Enter a prefix that will identify your product's license key number. For example, myscript_ and be sure to enter the underscore at the end to seperate the prefix from the generated license number. If the product is NOT a licensed script, skip this field.
11. Featured? - If you wish this product to be shown on the home page of your site, enter Y = yes, N = No.
12. Hidden? - If you don't want anyone but you to see the product, enter Y = yes, N = No.
13. Zip File - Products zip file name for downloads. Just the file name. The path is set in your admin homepage options. eg. product.zip. If product is an addon, and has no zip download, leave this field blank.
14. Additional Licenses - If you wish to offer additional licenses for this product at a reduced price for clients that purchase one copy at full price, enter a price (eg. 25.00), otherwise, leave blank.
Once you've finished entering all your settings, click the "Submit" button to create your new product or addon!
