This tutorial covers how to reset customer's site licenses.
Your licensing code in each of your products protects your sold scripts from being pirated, or used on multiple sites. Sometimes though, your customers may sell their site, or move it to another host, domain etc. If they do this, their script will stop working. The only way to allow your customer's site to work again is if you clear the old domain info, and redetect the customer's new site domain info.
You as admin can do this resetting from your admin section or the client can also do this from their client area.
1. Admin reset license - Do a search for the customer in the upper right of your admin section. You can search by license number, domain name. IP number, email address, username or last, first name.
Once you've found the customer's record, you can see all the products they've purchased. Chose the product they've moved (the detected domain is shown), and click on the license number to the right of the product's name. This will take you to Customer's License Details.
You will see the "REISSUE THE LICENSE?" link. Click on that and you will clear their old data. As soon as your client accesses the protected page in your script on their site, the new info will be recorded and your client can again use your script on their site!
2. Customer reset license - Your customers can also reset their licenses. Once logged into their client account, They will see their licensed (and unlicensed purchases) in a list. They can click on the Product's name, and be shown the license details. They then also have an option to reset their licensed domain.
They may also reset all their licensed products at once by clicking on the "Reset All Licenses" from their right nav link.
